This is a 1:5 scale model of the George Nelson Bench. Beech wood was used because of its small grain, and screws were sourced from a watch manufacturer, these both helped with the visual interpretation of actual size versus a scale of 1:5. The bench was also drawn up and rendered using the Rhinoceros CAD program.
